MARCH 4, 2008 GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY UPDATE

Governor Chuck McIlravey

We left the snow and Toronto behind on Friday February 8th and arrived to heat and smiling faces at the Kingston Airport.  Our goal on this 24 day trip was to see as many of the 57 Clubs and 2,400 Members and their probjects as possible. We wanted to talk directly with Members to hear their concerns, challenges and to try to work out solutions together.  A hectic travel schedule but our Jamaica LG Team was up to the task.  These Kiwanis Leaders are on top of what is happening in their Divisions and most of the issues.  The trip would educate each of us over the next 24 days.
